Chuck’s Leadership Tip | Week of June 4
Everyone talks about time management. But here’s the truth: you can’t manage time, you can only manage your energy.
Time is fixed. You get the same 24 hours as everyone else. But your energy? That ebbs and flows. If you’re like me - there are hours in your day where you’re locked in, sharp, and unstoppable…and hours where you’re just going through the motions.
Most people schedule their day around their calendar. Smart leaders schedule around their energy.
Know your peak hours. Protect them. Do your most important work there.
Save the meetings, the emails, the admin, all the stuff that doesn’t require your best thinking for when your tank is running low.
It’s not about working more hours. It’s about putting your best energy where it counts most.
That’s how you stop being busy and start being effective.
