We may not have bred this ewe but it doesn't make this win any less important for me!! Shes been a fun one all season for Mallory and we can't wait to put her into production next year!! I cant say how proud I am of Mallory for this win especially stepping foot onto the ring for her last State fair!
This ewe was a last minute decision to bid on her on the auction block at the main event! Watched her down the line and thought "man if someone can get this little ewe into the right hands she'll be really neat come late summer"! We'll decided to bid and the rest was history 😀!! Bestsy Bacon won quite a bit for mallory and was name Reserve Champion Breeding Ewe Cornhusker Showdown Central District, Reserve Champion Breeding Ewe Lancaster Open Show, Reserve Champion Middle Weight Market Lamb June Jam! She was a ewe that got better and better and pairing her with Mallory was the best decision I made!! Finally it was Mallorys turn to shine ✨️ 🙌

There's a LONG story with this ewe and it made for a long couple of months until weaning! A mom who rejected her and us getting up every 4 hours to let her suck off her mom was well worth the work and this ewe turned into something pretty special!

This family put in the hard work and it paid off!! Can't tell you how much I appreciate this family and everything they do to make sure they get everything done right!! ❤️ I cant express how proud I am of them!! Back to back NSF wins in the market ewe division is a HUGE accomplishment and this family deserves every bit of those win!
