Moeller Aerospace is an industry leader in precision machined turbine engine components. We are also heavily involved in blade and vane manufacturing.

Moeller Manufacturing Company - Aerospace Division is a manufacturing facility specializing in machined parts for the gas turbine aircraft engine and power generation industries. Moeller manufactures precision machined parts ranging from small items such as bladelocks to complex brackets, housings, and manifolds. Frequently used materials include nickel alloys, stainless steels, titanium, and super-alloys in wrought, forged and cast form as well as composites. Over the years we have developed an entire business unit specializing in machining Titanium Aluminide alloys. Moeller is a recognized industry leader in specialized self-locking fluid fittings, borescope plugs and drain plugs, turnbuckles, bearing lock nuts (retaining nuts) and other fasteners. Our locking device products lines include Click-Loc™ and FlexThread™.

Manufacturing Day isn't just a date on the calendar. It's a chance to open our doors and show the next generation what modern manufacturing really looks like.

This year, we had the privilege of welcoming two groups of students to our Wixom facility.

On Thursday, October 1st, students from Hartland High School joined us for a day of exploration, learning about the technology and craftsmanship behind precision aerospace manufacturing.

On Friday, October 2nd (Manufacturing Day itself), we welcomed students from Branford Academy for a tour of our operations and conversations about career paths in the industry.

To both schools: thank you for your curiosity, your questions, and your engagement throughout the day. The future of American manufacturing is in good hands.

World Space Week may have wrapped last week, but at Moeller Aerospace, every day is a day for space.

The 2026 theme was "Rocket Revolution," recognizing the rapid transformation in launch technology that's making space more accessible than ever before. For us, that revolution is a daily reality. We're proud to build precision parts for the RS-25 core stage engines that power NASA's Space Launch System, the rocket that launched Artemis II on its 694,481-mile journey around the Moon earlier this year. Every one of those engines contains components manufactured at our facilities.

Rockets don't fly without the components inside them working exactly as designed. That standard doesn't take a week off.

New opening at our Wixom facility: CNC Programmer.

We're looking for someone to create and maintain CNC programs for highly complex turbine engine components made in our shop. You'll spend time both at the workstation and on the floor with our operators, developing machining concepts for new parts and supporting continuous improvement on legacy work.

What we're looking for:

Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience in a precision machining environment
Mastercam proficiency (Esprit CAM a plus)
Simultaneous or 3+2 5-axis programming knowledge
Hands-on experience with aerospace materials (Inconel, titanium, stainless steel)
Strong print reading with thorough understanding of GD&T

Summer wouldn't be summer without the Moeller BBQ!

Recently our team gathered for our Summer BBQ, taking a rare break from the shop floor to share a meal, swap stories, and recognize the people who make Moeller what it is. Behind every airfoil, every complex component, and every Click-Loc component we ship is a team of operators, engineers, machinists, and support staff working together to hit tolerances that don't allow for second chances.

Our summer BBQ is one of the ways we say thank you.

Today is National Aviation Day, marking Orville Wright's birthday and 123 years since the dawn of powered flight in 1903.

In just over a century, aviation has gone from a 12-second hop at Kitty Hawk to passenger aircraft connecting every corner of the globe, military platforms reshaping defense capabilities, and lunar missions putting humans back on the path to deep space. Each step forward has rested on a chain of engineering decisions and the people who built the components that made them possible.

At Moeller Aerospace, we're proud to be one link in that chain. Every airfoil, every complex component, every part we machine carries forward the same spirit that lifted the Wright Flyer off the sand at Kitty Hawk: build something better, prove it can fly, then build the next one.

Cheering on our local U13 team from the Indian River Soccer Association.

Moeller Aerospace has been proud to sponsor a team with the Indian River Soccer Association for three seasons now. This year's squad is made up of 17 players ages 10 to 12 from Indian River, Alanson, Cheboygan, Petoskey, and the surrounding communities. They'll play 13 games this season, coached by our very own Andrei Balauca, whose son is out there on the field with them.

Supporting youth sports in the communities around our Harbor Springs facility isn't just something we do; it's part of who we are. Backing programs like this one is how we help make sure the kids growing up here have the same opportunities to play, compete, and grow that generations before them did.
