In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain precision workholding fixtures and tooling that support CNC machining operations for aerospace applications. Ideal candidates have experience in fixture building or toolmaking, a strong understanding of machining principles, and a commitment to quality and precision.

Congratulations to Meghan Watts, Moeller Aerospace's very first FAMEUSA graduate!

Over the past two years, Meghan balanced three days a week on the shop floor with two days a week in the classroom, earning her associate degree while building hands-on experience in precision manufacturing. That's a demanding path, and Meghan handled it with the kind of work ethic and skill that makes her exactly the kind of teammate we want. Meghan will now join the Moeller team as a full-time employee, and we couldn't be happier to have her!

James Lyons and Michelle Frisch represented Moeller Aerospace at the FAME USA National Conference May 12-14, attending as members of the MI FAME Mitten Chapter, the only FAME chapter in Michigan.

FAME (Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education) is a two-year work-and-learn program that pairs students with sponsoring employers. Students work three days a week at a manufacturing site and attend school two days a week. After two years, they earn an associate degree and gain real production-floor experience, with the potential to move into a full-time role with their sponsoring company.

Earth Day Clean-Up:
Our Harbor Springs team turned Earth Day into action. First and third shift volunteers spent the day cleaning up the property grounds, taking pride in the place we work every day. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Administrative Professionals Day:
Shout out to the Moeller Admin Team in honor of Administrative Professionals Day! We celebrated last month with an appreciation lunch to thank our dedicated team of admins for their diligence, organization, and behind-the-scenes support to make our business run smoothly every day. THANK YOU for the work you do and the fun you bring to the Moeller Team!

CNC Class 3:
We hosted our third CNC class at the facility, training the next generation of machinists who will run the milling, turning, and grinding operations the aerospace and industrial gas turbine markets depend on. A sincere thank you to North Central Michigan College and the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center for the partnership. Building skilled CNC talent is a long game, and it takes employers, educators, and industry support working together.

Spring Job Fair at NCMC:
Our Harbor Springs HR team spent the day at the spring job fair at North Central Michigan College, talking with students, alumni, and the broader community about what we do. The Artemis mission was still fresh on everyone's mind, and it was a privilege to share the role Moeller Aerospace played in that work. Thank you to NCMC for hosting, and to everyone who stopped by to ask what an aerospace career actually looks like.

Reflecting on a busy and exciting MRO Americas in Orlando last month. Three days of conversations with our industry colleagues and partners along with a fierce competition hosted by the Aerospace Maintenance Council reinforced what we already knew: aviation maintenance runs on precision, trust, and uncompromising quality.
