BNI Hawks Weekly Recap : This week, the Hawks had another successful meeting and heard from speakers Yolanda Garcia and David Bobrowsky. Yolanda Garcia of Minor Fine Jewelry Retail touched on the difference between natural diamonds and lab grown diamonds. If you were at the meeting you would have had the amazing opportunity to see her diamond samples. David Bobrowsky of Alden Wealth Management Financial Advisors discussed the top 10 companies by decade from the year 1985 - 2025 and displayed a chart showing the percent of S&P 500 companies by market capitalization.

Congratulations to this week's cup winner, Peter Greenbaum of Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer Attorney, who received the cup from Juliet Teller of Central Jersey Insurance Associates Property & Casualty.

At this meeting, Education Coordinator Sean Keough of spoke about the importance of inquiring about things you did not know about your colleagues. This creates stronger bonds and comfort within our group. Also, Vipin Singh took a photo of Eric B. Morrell showing a testimonial he received from 1999.

Looking ahead, the Hawks are planning the Chapter's 20th Anniversary celebration with current and past members. We are proud to still have many original founding members still in our chapter. This event will be on June 23rd at 5:30 pm and will be held at Q’ero 1897 Woodbridge Ave, Edison NJ.

BNI Hawks Weekly Recap:

This week, we heard presentations from of Absolute Home Mortgage Corp. and Juliet Teller of Central Jersey Insurance Associates. Education Coordinator Sean Keough of touched on listening to top referral partners and seeing how that can be identified in other people. Also, congratulations to Juliet on receiving the cup from of Pisciotta & Menasha LLC.

Looking ahead, the Hawks are planning the Chapter's 20th Anniversary celebration with current and past members. We are proud to still have many original founding members still in our chapter. Stay tuned for more details in June!

BNI Hawks Weekly Recap:

This week, the Hawks had another successful meeting and heard from speakers Ben and Dairon.

Congratulations to this week's cup winner, Ben Menasha of Pisciotta & Menasha LLC, who received the cup from David A. Bobrowsky of Alden Wealth Management.

At this meeting, Ben spoke about the difference between SSI (Supplemental Security Income) and SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance). Ben also discussed how Medicaid affects estate planning. If you have children with special needs, Ben really understands how to protect them during the estate planning process.

Dairon Yepez of JDR Cleaning Services LLC, spoke about his cleaning company and how they were able to build up their commercial cleaning business during the pandemic. He also showed slides of his staff cleaning throughout the tri-state area.

In Sean's weekly education speech, he discussed the importance of business cards and how they can assist in networking and obtaining business. Sean advised the Hawks to always have business cards on you. One side of the card should be matte so it can be written on if needed. You should also have a digital business card wallet, so you can save the cards of others you have connected with.

BNI Hawks Weekly Recap:

This week, the Hawks had another successful meeting.

Congratulations to this week's cup winner, David A. Bobrowsky of Alden Wealth Management, who received the cup from Ben Menasha of Pisciotta & Menasha LLC. Dave won the cup because he was able to successfully save one of his clients over $200,000 in taxes.

Ben gave an informative speech to the Hawks this week. He mentioned that if you are young, married, and have children, you need to do an estate plan and think about who can care for and financially support your child. Continue to think about how to ease the burden financially for your family.

In Sean's weekly education speech, he gave members homework to find 5 people you do not know on the internet and get in contact with them. .

This week, the Hawks had another successful meeting and enjoyed spending time with the Somerset Patriots chapter.

Congratulations to this week's cup winner, Ben Menasha of Pisciotta & Menasha LLC, who received the cup from Sean Keough of Little Silver Films.

Juliet Teller of Central Jersey Insurance Associates mentioned to the group in her closing quote that you should not wait for someone to bring you flowers. Rather, you should plant your own garden and water it.

In Sean's weekly education speech, he discussed the theme of two beers and a puppy. We should do business with people we like enough to have two whole beers with and trust them enough to watch your puppy. Do business with those you .

A few Hawks also attended an event for City Lifestyle in Bridgewater. Here, the Hawks networked with the Somerset Patriots chapter and enjoyed the evening.

BNI Hawks Weekly Recap:

This week, the Hawks had another successful meeting. The theme of the meeting was to discuss what we wanted to be when we grew up.

Congratulations to this week's cup winner, Sean Keough of Little Silver Films, who received the cup from Eric Morrell of Law Offices of Eric B. Morrell.

There were two great speakers at this meeting, Ihan Quijano of Enterprise Title Services, who presented an informative slideshow and Mark Draper of RokFinancial who gave us a Harry Potter theme this week, with wand and Harry Potter tie included.

In Sean's weekly education speech, he discussed starting and running a business and the importance of liking what you do. Sean also emphasized that you should think about how you can help others. Think about who can make your dream come true.

During this meeting, many of our Hawks brought their children in for Take Your Child to Work Day. It was a success and the group made it a fun event. Check out the photos featuring Mateo and Maddy.

BNI Hawks Weekly Recap:

This week, the Hawks had another successful meeting.

Congratulations to this week's cup winner, Eric Morrell of Law Offices of Eric B. Morrell, who received the cup from Kunal Thacker’s partner of Shivaami, who subbed for Kunal this week. Thanks to the group for the cup this week, I think it helped that he brought the boxing glove!

There were two great speakers at this meeting, Sean Keough of Little Silver Films and A.J. of Wessex Mortgage Advocates, foreclosure prevention specialist. We would highly suggest using them for their services.

In Sean's weekly education speech, he discussed the importance of being specific when you introduce somebody to someone else in business. Sean recommended that you should be familiar with their skills and expertise. You then should explain to the person you are referring to, the Three exceptional services that they perform on a daily basis.

Also, Take Your Child to Work Day is in one week, on April 23rd, so be sure to bring your child to the meeting as our group always makes it a fun event.

BNI Hawks Weekly Recap:

This week, the Hawks had another successful meeting.

Congratulations to this week's cup winner, Kunal Thacker of Shivaami, who received the cup from Meeta Parekh of Team Logic IT.

Kunal gave a very interesting 60 seconds talk about how AI was used in the recent rescue of an American pilot from Iran.

In Sean's education speech he recommended visiting others chapters and getting to know their members. Sean's suggestion was if you view a request from someone on social media for a particular service, and if our group has somebody that performs that service, you should refer to that member of the group.

Also, Take Your Child to Work Day is in two weeks, on April 23rd, so be sure to bring your child to the meeting as, our group always makes it a fun event.

This week, the Hawks had another successful meeting, and wished Carlton Wood all the best, as it was his last BNI meeting.

Congratulations to this week's cup winner, Carlton Wood of Carlton For Life, who received the cup from Eric B. Morrell of The Law Offices of Eric B. Morrell. Carlton also gave an excellent presentation on life insurance policies and business growth.
