🎉 Exciting news from Lightwave Dental 🎉

We’re thrilled to announce Dr. Clifton Cameron as the next Chief Executive Officer of Lightwave Dental, effective October 1, 2026!

Dr. Cameron has been part of our story since 2019, most recently as President and Chief Clinical Officer. He’s a clinician first— he helped build our model, holds the line on quality of care, and has earned the trust of our doctors and teams the way it’s meant to be earned: in person, over years. We couldn’t be more confident in his ability to lead Lightwave into its next chapter.

This transition also marks a personal milestone for our founder, Justin Jory, who is stepping down as CEO. Justin’s decision is a personal one — after a decade on the road, he’s ready to slow down and spend more quality time with his family. He’ll remain a shareholder and advisor, and he’ll always be part of the Lightwave story.

Lightwave started with 8 practices, $23M in revenue, and about 150 team members. Today: 100+ practices across Virginia and the Carolinas, $300M+ in revenue, and 1,800+ team members — one of the fastest-growing and highest-quality dental platforms in the country. We’re proud of everything this team has built and excited for what’s next.

ELEVATE is officially in the books! 🦷 ✨

This past weekend, we brought hygienists from across our practices together for two days of connection and education at The Westin in Richmond, VA.

ELEVATE is designed to strengthen connections and celebrate excellence within the hygiene community, with this year’s attendees earning over 800 combined CE credits along the way.

We were honored to have Kelly Tanner, Ph.D., RDH on hand to share her expertise with us. We also had a surprise guest appearance from JERRY, RDH (known across the dental community for JERRY RDH & DENTISTRY HUMOR 🦷) who reminded everyone that great education can be fun...and very funny!

Lightwave recently partnered with Operation Re-dentulate Central America Association to send 14 of our doctors to Guatemala for implant training. With ORCAA, experienced doctors get to put their skills to work to help underserved populations while learning from a world-class implant faculty.

It’s not every week you get that kind of expert mentorship and impact rolled into one. We’re incredibly proud of this group and the work they put in! 👏

Today, we’re celebrating National Tooth Fairy Day, a fun reminder of one of childhood’s most memorable milestones.

✨🧚🦷✨  For many children, losing a first tooth is exciting, but it can also bring a little uncertainty. Our dental teams use that unique opportunity to turn those moments into positive experiences by helping young patients feel comfortable, confident, and excited about caring for their smiles.
