Hello, my name is Melissa, and I’m a Certified PALS Birth Doula. After my pregnancy and amazing birth team and childbirth experience, I realized the strong calling I have to the childbirth experience. My objective for a attending the Birth Doula Skills Workshop at Bastyr University was to become more educated on the ins and outs of all types of births. I am following my passion for an empowering b

irth experience for all women. My Doula fee includes: two prenatal visits, attending the entire labor and delivery (including one to two hours postpartum), and two postpartum visits. My Doula fee is $850.00; now including Birth Photography.My Doula fee without photography is $700.00. Prenatal (maternity) and postpartum/newborn Photography services also available for additional fees on a client to client basis. As many of you know, and as some of you may not, I just came back from a four day life-enriching experience. I am now proud to say I'm a Certified Sacred Pregnancy Instructor, and will be teaching classes in the near future! CHICAGO -- Even for infants born full-term, a little more time in the womb may matter. The extra time results in more brain development, and a study suggests perhaps better scores on academic tests, too.
