The Food Front Rooted in innovation - leading the way for food and agricultural responsibility.
Food responsibility. A proud community.

Lasting business partnerships. It all adds up to a city much greater than the sum of its parts. Woodland is straightforward, smart, and successful - a combination that takes more than fertile soil to achieve.

We were happy to give a warm Woodland welcome to a special delegation from our sister city La Piedad, Michoacán!

Many Woodland residents have lineage that traces back to this city, and it was exciting to tour them through some of our town’s finest businesses and institutions, like Z Specialty’s the Hive. We look forward to continued collaboration for many years to come.

Lunchtime burrito delivery for local farmworkers! 🌯🌯🌯

The City delivered over 300 burritos to farmworkers at M Three Ranches, Muller Ag, and Bullseye Farms as a gesture of appreciation. This initiative of the Yolo Growers and Farmworkers Festival - a partnership between Dinner on Main & City of Woodland - was funded by the Yolo County American Rescue Plan Grant and the City of Woodland.

A big thanks goes to Woodland DT restaurants for preparing such a large and tasty order: Burger Saloon, Doggero’s, House of Shah, Las Brasas, and Las Milpas Taqueria. 😋

Resources were plentiful at the Festival! Local organizations focusing on food security, heath and wellness, education, and more, set up pop ups for face to face time with community members in parallel to the evening’s entertainment. We were thankful for their participation at the Yolo Growers and Farmworkers Festival, and for what each of them do on a daily basis to serve our farmworkers and community at large🌻💪🏽

It be toasty at the Festival, but no need to fret! Thanks to donations from Nugget Markets & Food 4 Less, we will have 1,000 bottles of chilled water to pass out, in addition to 500 baskets of strawberries, donated by Yolo Food Bank! Look for the light blue horse trailer in the Festival zone between 1st and College to grab some before we run out!

See you TONIGHT in DT Woodland at 5PM for the first Yolo Growers & Farmworkers Festival 🐴🎶🤠
