Do you actually believe in what you’re selling?
It matters more than people think.
When you believe in the product, your conversations feel different. You show up with more confidence, more conviction, and more energy because you’re not forcing yourself to “sell” something you don’t stand behind.
But when there’s no alignment, it can show up fast.
You may hesitate more.
You may struggle to explain the value clearly.
You may feel disconnected from the people you’re talking to.
That’s why before accepting a sales role, it’s worth asking yourself:
“Do I believe this product can genuinely help the person it’s being sold to?”
If the answer is yes, it becomes much easier to sell from a place of service instead of pressure.
And if you’re currently looking for a remote sales role, make sure you’re choosing opportunities that align with your values, not just the commission plan.
