What a fun night with the McHenry County Farm Bureau!

The annual Draw Down Fundraiser 2026 was held at the The Harvard Moose Family Center -- and raised money to support agriculture education, local farmers, and agricultural interests.

Living in a part of the county that is highly ag-focused, I'm so thankful to be able to give back to this hard-working community through photos at various events.

I photograph a lot for Wagon Wheel Figure Skating Club and Crystal Ice House.

This Saturday, I was thrilled to visit the McHenry Riverwalk Shoppes and photograph McHenry's Brook Gewalt figure skating, teaching, and signing autographs on the community ice rink!

Brooke is competing for Team U.S.A. and will be skating at the U.S. Figure Skating Championship early next month.

Our members Ania and Susie joined in the fun with a demonstration and skating assistance.

The sweet little ice rink in the heart of McHenry is the perfect place to feel all the holiday joy. Bring your own skates ~ and take a spin on the ice. You won't regret it. Big dreams are born on small-town ice rinks.

Everyone is getting in the holiday spirit -- and figure skaters are no exception. A cold rink, sharp blades, and colorful costumes and fun props make for a surprisingly special show.

These Crystal Ice House skaters performed holiday programs just ahead of the holiday season -- and I was thrilled to capture them!

It's Senior Saturday 🙌🏻

The weather today makes me dream of fun, friends, and the anticipation of what the future holds.

This session was a few weeks ago (it has been a busy fall for us), but I finally finished. Seniors bringing their passions to their sessions make me happy!

This couple was the sweetest! I loved the way the bride incorporated the groom's passions in this session, but I think I loved the way they loved each other most of all.

I've known the groom for a bit, and seeing him with his person was honestly the best. I spent this session smiling ~ because I loved how this couple looked at one another.

I cannot wait for your big day ~ congratulations on your engagement!

Carrie and I love what we do ~ and this couple made loving our art even easier!
