Dear Southern Advisors Family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our business partner and friend, Shawn Davenport. After a battle with dementia, Shawn went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2025.

Shawn was not only a trusted advisor, friend, and family-man, he was a person of deep faith, kindness, and integrity. We take comfort in knowing that he is now in the presence of our Savior, and we are grateful for the many ways he touched lives through his work.

While we grieve, we also celebrate the life of Shawn.

A celebration to honor Shawn’s life will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025 with visitation at 1pm and service at 2pm. The visitation and service will be held at Darby Funeral Home 480 E Main Street Canton, GA 30114. All who wish to join in remembering and giving thanks for Shawn's life are warmly welcome.

We ask for your prayers for Shawn's family, our team, and all who loved him.
