Nothing suspicious. No hidden accounts. Just lots of throw pillows and receipts.

But when the divorce started heating up, so did the suspicion.
So we (allegedly) got involved.

After some digging, we discovered:
👜 She had three storage units.
💎 One full of designer handbags.
📦 One full of new electronics (never opened).
📚 And one mysteriously labeled "Books & Supplies"—which turned out to be filled with collectible comic books worth a small fortune.

Oh, and she was selling them under a fake username on online marketplaces, shipping through a PO box registered to her maiden name.

She called it “just a hobby.”
The judge called it “undisclosed assets.”

Before you file, prepare smart. Divorce can move fast—or it can drag—and the more prepared you are, the more protected you’ll be.

Here are tips straight from the investigators' desk:

🔴 Gather Financials—All of Them

Download or print bank, credit card, investment, and retirement account statements.

Don’t forget crypto wallets, Venmo/CashApp histories, and hidden PayPal accounts.

Secure copies of tax returns for at least the last 3 years.

⚫ Document Property and Assets

Take photos or videos of valuable items, vehicles, heirlooms, and shared assets.

Make a list of joint debts too—credit cards, loans, etc.

🔴 Secure Legal and Personal Records

Copy marriage license, birth certificates, and anything tied to shared accounts or dependents.

Change passwords to your email, cloud storage, and phone backups. Lock down what’s yours.

⚫ Track Communications

Save texts, emails, voicemails, and social DMs that may show abuse, infidelity, or important admissions. Don't delete anything—preserve evidence.

🔴 Know Your Digital Footprint

They hired a PI because “something just felt off.”
The husband was acting weird… extra showers, secretive texting, sudden interest in DIY projects—especially in the attic.

So we (allegedly) followed him.
Turns out, he wasn’t cheating.
He wasn’t hiding money.
He wasn’t even building a man cave.

He was secretly… breeding exotic reptiles.
🐍🦎 Like, a lot of them.
In a hidden, climate-controlled attic he’d rigged with vents, UV lights, and racks of terrariums.

Why the secrecy?
Because apparently, his wife had banned snakes from the house after “the incident with the boa and the blender.”

🎥 Bonus: We’re told the footage of her face when she found out belongs in the Hall of Fame of silent scream reactions.

Moral of the story?
You never know what’s really in the attic… but we do.

🕵️‍♀️ 10 Ways to Find Out if She/He’s Married (Before You Catch Feelings)
1. Check the Ring Finger… Always.
Obvious, yes. But sometimes they just take it off. Look for a tan line, indent, or even phantom scratching 👀

2. Google Is Your Bestie
Type their full name + “wedding” + “married” + “obituary” (yes, weird—but sometimes it lists surviving spouse) + hometown. Bonus points if you search images and Facebook at the same time.

3. Check their Tagged Photos (and Their Comments 👀)
Even if their profile is locked down tighter than Fort Knox, tagged photos tell all the secrets. Scroll through what other people post about them—especially around holidays. Bonus tip: the comments section is where aunties accidentally spill the truth. 🫣

4. Scope the Socials Like a Pro
Go back months (sometimes years). Look for:
• Baby daddy/mama soft launches
• Tagged pics with l kids
• Comments like “So happy for you two!” 👶💍

5. Venmo Creepin’
If you’re lucky and their settings are public, you’ll see who they’re sending $$ to—maybe to a “Wifey” or “Hubby” for daycare or dinner 💸🍝

• Search their name under Civil to see if they’ve filed for divorce (or not 👀)
• Search under Criminal to see what kind of skeletons they might have in that closet
• Be sure to check aliases too—some of these charmers have a side hustle in name changes 🙃

7. Ask to Facetime at Night
If they always have an excuse—“bad lighting”, “bad connection”, “bad dog chewing the charger”—that’s a red flag the size of Texas.

8. “Take Me Home, Country Roads” Test
Ask to go to their house. If they dodges, stalls, or are always meeting you elsewhere?. What are you hiding? 🏠

9. Check the Vibe with His Phone
Is it always face-down? On Do Not Disturb? They grabs it mid-ring like it’s gonna explode? 🚩🚩🚩

10. Hire a PI (Ahem… Hi, it’s me)
