What a great three days at BABAT 💛

Last week, members of our 1722 team had the opportunity to connect with fellow professionals, share ideas, and learn more about the latest developments in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.

We loved meeting so many new faces, making connections, and being part of a community that shares our passion for making a difference!

We’re so excited to recognize Abby Greene as 1722’s first Employee of the Month!

Abby’s dedication to her clients and her team shows in so many ways. From consistently showing up ready to support her clients, to stepping in wherever an extra hand is needed, she brings patience, flexibility, and a true team-player mentality to 1722 every day.

Her coworkers and leadership highlighted her reliability, commitment, willingness to help, and drive to continue growing as a BT - all qualities that make Abby such a valued part of our team.

✨ Meet Chelsea! ✨

You’ve met so many members of our team through this series, and this week we’re introducing someone who usually gets to stay behind the scenes - Chelsea, our Social Media & Culture Coordinator and Behavior Technician!

Chelsea gets to experience 1722 from a few different angles. Her favorite part of what she does is finding ways to celebrate the amazing work happening here, create a positive culture for our team and families, and help 1722 build connections within our greater community.

Outside of work, Chelsea loves trying new restaurants, seeing live music, learning all things astrology (she’s a Gemini), and spending as much time as possible with her dog, Arlo.

Music has also been a pretty big part of Chelsea’s story! With a degree in Music Business, she’s had the opportunity to travel across the country working on tour with music festivals and bands. And long before that, you could find her in a dance studio as a competitive dancer for nearly 18 years!

✨Meet Ana!✨

Ana is one of our Preschool Teachers at our learning center Little Smiles! One of her favorite parts of what she does is getting to see those special moments when a child learns a new skill, and all the excitement that comes along with it!

Outside of the classroom, Ana loves scrapbooking, singing, and spending time with her family. She’s also the youngest of three girls, growing up with two older sisters!

Whether she’s helping our preschoolers discover something new or putting her creativity to use outside of work, Ana brings so much warmth to what she does. We’re so happy to have her as part of the 1722 team!

As one of our BCBAs at 1722, Elizabeth’s favorite part of what she does is watching each of her clients grow into their own individual and unique personalities. 💛

When she’s not at 1722, there’s a good chance Elizabeth is either on the move or in the gym! She loves traveling, running, and weight lifting, and has taken her passion for fitness to another level as a professional bodybuilder!

Her adventures extend well beyond the gym, too. Elizabeth has traveled to every continent except Antarctica… so far! 🌎✈️

Shannon is one of our Supervising Clinicians at 1722, and for her, the best part of the job is pretty simple - getting to laugh, have fun, and be a part of our students’ everyday lives. 💛

When she’s not at 1722, Shannon loves going on adventures with her family and checking out new coffee shops. ☕️ And family has always been a big part of her story; Shannon grew up on Long Island as the youngest of four sisters!

You may know him as the President of 1722, but there’s a little more to know about Joel beyond his role, and we’re taking it all the way back to the beginning with “Little Joel” on slide two!

At the heart of what Joel loves about his work is growth; creating an organization that supports not only the families we serve, but the employees who make that work possible.

When he’s away from work, you’ll most likely find him spending time with his son and his dog. 🐾 As an adoptive parent to two children, family also holds a special place in Joel’s life - both personally and in the work he has built at 1722.

As a BT at 1722, Renee gets to combine meaningful work with one of her favorite things - getting to play like a kid again!

A few things to know about Ms. Renee: she loves spending time with family and friends, sings in a choir, enjoys painting, and has a talent for doing voices that keep our kiddos laughing.

From creativity to plenty of laughs, Renee brings so much personality to our team, and we’re so happy to have her at 1722! 💛

Say hello to Kayla, one of our RBTs & Case Managers at 1722! 👋

For Kayla, the best part of her work is being able to support clients and their families while making meaningful changes in their everyday lives.

Outside of work, she loves spending time in the gym, coloring, finding a good coffee shop, and spending time with friends and family. And when it comes to her bucket list, Kayla hopes to make her way to Europe someday!
