DISTURBING AND SORDID ALLEGATIONS

Worcester Mass.-Several weeks ago we learned of a disturbing report made directly to Mayor Carlo DeMaria and the Everett City Council. Approximately a week later we also heard from the wife of a city official, who is high up in the DeMaria Administration, about this report.
She informed us that she was aware of the report and could not stay silent on it, “This just isn’t right” she explained. What we were told, is that Mayor Carlo DeMaria planned to use his influence to interfere in any investigation, criminal or otherwise, in order to secure favorable votes, he needed in city council meetings.
The allegations were of a sexual assault on at least one minor and the perpetrator, was present Everett City Council member Wayne Matewsky. We have been made aware the documents received by the city council and Mayor DeMaria are confirmed authentic.
“This is how the mayor conducts business continuously on anything that serves his purpose, people mean nothing to him”. “I could not stay silent on this; I shudder to think of what he (Mayor DeMaria) has done that I don’t know about”. While speaking to us, the reporting party, was visibly shaken.
Wayne Matewsky, a long-time local Everett politician, was also a one term State Representative. After becoming State Rep. Matewsky received negative attention for allegedly mocking a disabled child in a restaurant and berating staff for seating him near the child.
A top Psychologist informs us that, the incident could have triggered any number of moods related to a pedophilic disorder.
What we can confirm for you at this time is that the allegations we reviewed, were part of a public records request. We are unaware of this information being sent to the Everett Police Department. In support of the non-investigation by the EPD, is the fact that the documents were released by the city, if there was any type of an investigation, this complaint would have been sealed and kept from the public.
The original complaint was sent to email addresses [email protected] and [email protected] on February 3, 2022.
What is equally disturbing is that we do not have any verification that the Everett Police Department received this complaint. Immediately upon receipt, it was forwarded to Jerry Navarra.
WHY JERRY NAVARRA?
Mr. Navarra was heard during the election telling a campaign supporter, for the opponent of Mayor DeMaria, “you’ll never F*cking get anything from the city again”.
Apparently, Mr. Navarra carries some weight at city hall and his statement was true. We have also learned that anywhere from 5-7 grievances were filed by female employees in city hall against Mr. Navarra. Those grievances resulted in Mr. Navarra having to call ahead before he presents himself at city hall, he is the head for the department of public works.
With the flood of texts, memes, and videos we have recently seen about the blatant racism by every member of the DeMaria Administration, we have also seen reports of texts by Mayor DeMaria instructing Navarra to “we need to go hard on these people, barrooms, the rooming houses...”. “So, let's dig up every piece of dirt”, was an order that came from Mayor DeMaria to Navarra and an unnamed associate.
We have reached out to Mayor DeMaria and Jerry Navarra for a comment and have not heard back yet.
