There are few tax credits that small business can qualify for, but the Work Opportunity Tax Credit is one of them. With federal tax credits ranging from $2,400 to $9,600 per employee, you can't make that kind of profit without selling a lot of product. Whether your business is urban or rural, the law gives you credits for hiring veterans, food stamp recipients, cash welfare recipients, handicapped, ex-felons, etc. Remember, the poster promoting this progam appears in the finanacial aid office of every community college in America. Don't overlook anyone.

The Work Opportunity Tax Credit has never been more attractive to small businesses, as it has been extended for five years, and provides federal tax credits ranging from $2,400 to $9,600. Since it is after-tax profit, how much product would you have to sell to make that amount? Call 1-800-666-8582, and ask for Dave O'Toole
