We had a fantastic time welcoming employees’ children into our Willmar and Worthington locations for this year’s Kids Day — two mornings filled with curiosity, creativity, and hands on learning.
Across both events, 45 kids in grades 1–8 explored the science behind what we do every day. From a PPE Relay Race (complete with lab coats, gloves, masks, and more) to a candy based virus activity that showed how vaccines help keep cells healthy, the morning was packed with interactive experiences.
The kids also learned how to use pipettes and created colorful liquid art masterpieces, followed by decorating their own Vaxxinova canvas bags — later filled with school supplies to take home. We wrapped up each day with a pizza lunch and plenty of smiles.
We loved seeing their enthusiasm and creativity. Moments like these remind us how meaningful it is to share our work with the next generation, and we look forward to hosting Kids Day again.
