This is exactly why we believe in using another perspective for recovery. Thick cover, darkness, swamps and rough terrain can make a deer incredibly difficult to locate from the ground — while thermal from above can completely change the search.

When the blood trail ends, another perspective can make all the difference. 🦌
Schillo Farms FPV is equipped with thermal drone technology to help hunters cover ground from above and locate downed deer that may otherwise be incredibly difficult to find.
Thick woods. Swamps. Tall grass. Large properties. Sometimes seeing the terrain from above changes everything.

Can you actually see the antlers with thermal?”

I get asked this one ALL the time.

Yep. You absolutely can. 😂

I was out helping with a dog search the other night when this buck popped up on thermal. You can see him standing in the brush — and even at this distance, that rack is pretty hard to miss.

Thermal isn't magic, and there are definitely limitations depending on vegetation, weather and conditions, but it's pretty incredible how much information you can pick up from the air that you'd never see from the ground.

This is also a pretty good preview of what's coming in a couple months. 👀🦌

A good photo should make you stop scrolling for a second.

That’s what I’m looking for every time I head out with a camera — whether it’s a ship coming through Duluth, a local business, a property, an event, or something completely outside the box.

Fall is coming and I’m looking to get some more projects on the calendar. If you need fresh photos, video, aerial media, or even help keeping your business content moving consistently, let’s come up with something.
