President Donald Trump called off the livestreaming of the scheduled ex*****on of the convicted Fort Hood shooter, he announced on Truth Social on Thursday, following widespread backlash to the plan to broadcast his death.

“I think streaming the ex*****on for all to see might have been a strong deterrent.......but, many very good and well meaning people would rather not watch him die, through streaming, or through any other visual device,” he wrote.

“He will die, as scheduled, by firing squad, but this event will not be streamed,” he added.

WASHINGTON—The U.S. Treasury Department said Tuesday that it’s imposing $1.2 billion in fines on Bank of America for allegedly violating anti-money laundering and sanctions laws.

The fines on America’s second-biggest bank amount to the third-largest in the department’s history.
