Want to know about street closures and how to get to the Street Fair on Saturday? We've got you covered.
BROAD STREET WILL CLOSE ON FRIDAY April 26th at 7 PM from CHESTNUT TO SOUTH ST. Cross streets will remain open but drivers will NOT BE ABLE TO TURN ONTO BROAD St.
CROSS STREETS WILL CLOSE ON SATURDAY APRIL 27TH AT 5AM, incl. Sansom, Moravian, Chancellor, Locust, Bach, and Spruce Streets from 13th to 15th Street. Chestnut, Walnut, Pine, Lombard, and South Street will remain open but it is recommended that drivers avoid these streets because of congested traffic.
ALL ROADS WILL REOPEN ON SUNDAY, APRIL 28TH AT 3AM
Attendees are encouraged to use public transportation.
To get to the PIFA Street Fair via SEPTA take Regional Rail into Center City. It’s a short walk from Suburban and Market East Stations to the event. SEPTA’s Broad Street Line is the most convenient way to get to and from the PIFA Street Fair. Fairgoers can exit the Broad Street Line at Walnut-Locust Station for direct access to the event.
BY BUS: For those travelling to the festival by bus, please note that SEPTA Bus Routes 4, 9, 12, 21, 27, 32, 42 will be detoured off Broad Street between Pine and Chestnut Streets. Complete route detour information is available online via SEPTA System Status at www.septa.org/realtime/status/system-status.shtml or by calling SEPTA Customer Service at 215-580-7800.
BY CAR: Drivers can park north or south of the Street Fair and take the Broad Street Line to get to the event, or consider parking at the following garages located off of 13th or 15th Streets:
