It's all about the Carbon Cycle, we are creating too much pollution for energy and sequestering too little. We need to transition to primarily renewable energy. And we need to increase our carbon sink sequestration with biochar production for use in water purification and in soil health enhancement and a myriad of construction and energy applications such as core material for storage battery production. This is how we can achieve Net-Zero.

EcoTopic, on behalf of Linnaeus University (Linnaeus University), Växjö Småland Airport, and Kalmar Municipality (Kalmar kommun), is conducting a trial aimed at screening the potential of 15 different commercial and lab-produced hashtag for purifying groundwater and stormwater from hashtag emissions, primarily caused by fire training activities near the airports. The trial consists of a replicated batch test in the lab, which was recently carried out by the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). In addition to PFAS, we are also conducting nitrogen and phosphorus analyses to study both the purification and leakage potential. Now, two weeks of eager anticipation for the analysis results await. The hope is to move forward with the most promising materials to full-scale field trials. Stay tuned! (copied form a linkedin post).

I'll be giving a talk on Economic Development for the 22nd Century at the Yarmouth Rotary Meeting this Friday morning. This was the presentation I made to the Rotary International ESRAG Central North America Regional Chapter this summer on what we are doing here on Cape Cod and replicating in Upstate New York with Rotary connections. The model is being shared globally as a result of our being selected to compete for the Earthshot Prize. All selectees for Earthshot receive support and access to global programs.
