Exciting new changes are coming to Millworks! Construction has begun on a new gabion retaining wall and bioswale on our northern property line along YS-Fairfield Rd. Gabion walls provide erosion control while supporting effective stormwater management and improving water quality for local ecosystems. Meanwhile, the bioswale will naturally filter & cool down runoff, promoting a healthier habitat for plants and animals downstream. They even help slowdown stormwater runoff, reducing peak flow rates during downpours. Together, they highlight our commitment to sustainable development and environmental stewardship.

The newly formed Village Bicycle Club is hosting regular community bike rides the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, weather permitting, starting out at 5:45 p.m.

Participants meet at Lark Overland, in Millworks Business Center, then ride through the village and end at YS Brewery, back at Millworks, where riders can hang out and grab drinks or food from the food truck.

Scheduled ride dates are: July 8 and 22, Aug. 12 and 26, Sept. 9 and 23 and Oct. 14 and 28.

Community members can follow the Village Bicycle Club on Instagram or Facebook for updates and cancellations.
