Deer Season is Here!
Makin’ Bacon will be processing deer this year!

We’ll start taking in deer on November 8th, 2025, at 10:00 am.
Must be whole carcasses and must be gutted.

***Due to AGFC guidelines, we CANNOT accept deer from Boone, Newton, Madison, Carroll, or Searcy counties unless it has been completely deboned.
***Please refer to page 11 of the Arkansas Game and Fish hunting guidebook for more information.

Together, we can fight hunger! Donate at Makin' Bacon or Twin Lakes to support the Yellville Area Food Closet- giving is free!

Deer season is upon us. 🦌 Provide a much needed low fat, high protein meat to those in need around you by donating the meat from your deer at no charge to you.

You can donate by dropping off a field dressed or ice chest quartered deer to either Makin’ Bacon in Yellville or Twin Lakes Packing and Processing in Gassville. Let them know you would like for the Yellville Area Food Closet to get the meat.

Update: please ensure the deer that are dropped off at Twin Lakes Packing & Processing are skinned AND quartered.
