Hello,

After servicing the Westchester and NYC area for almost half a century, we regret to inform you that we will be moving away from the Westchester area, effective at the end of this week, due to increasing living costs, the primary tuner's shifting into semi-retirement, and other factors too diverse to go into in a single post.

Things are still very up in the air in the moment, but we will post further information on how our business will change once we have settled in the Capital region of NY State.

Time for a tune up!

The heat is back on in your home, and your piano is settling in for another season. When the temperature and humidity change, your piano will react. Sometimes this happens in little ways, such as producing unpleasant sounds or vibrations.

Our friend and colleague, the great harpsichordist Kenneth Cooper, passed on Saturday. He was an inspirational, astounding and gifted musician with one foot in the present and the other in the courtly past.

Our sincere sympathies to his wife, Josephine Mongiardo, and to Nick Mongiardo-Cooper, his son.
