It’s actually a good thing when your engaged with clients so much that you don’t have time to post updates to social media. Right?

In the midst of a challenging environment in 2020 and so far in 2021 — I’ve had the privilege and pleasure to:

2020: Represented PROSCI and facilitate 3 Public Change Management Practicioner events for approximately 100 professionals.
1. Florida public event
2. Texas public event
3. Washington public event

Continued to deliver strategic and tactical change management support for technology initiatives and broad impacting changes for Southern California Edison

2021: Partnered with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics to train several cohorts of Change Management Practitioners, across the nation.

In addition to delivering strategic and tactical change management support for technology initiatives and broad impacting changes, I also led the Southern California Edison Change Management Office to enhance their internal Change Analytics Platform — managing and mitigating change impact and saturation across their 26k employee, contractor and partner community.

Whew! Looking forward to what the rest of 2021 holds! What will 2022 hold?

Spent an amazing day with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics -- developing the change management competencies and capacity of engineers and project managers at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, with Prosci's Delivering Project Results program. Well done, team!

We'll take it up a notch, next week, with a 3-day Prosci Change Management Practitioner certification course.

The truth is that no one can *make you feel* anything — but we can share *how* we feel in situations. *How* we feel in situations provides the other person with insight into what’s important to us...our values, our motivations.

I would add, “When you did [X], I felt [Y]...and it’s important to me that [Z].”

For example, using Sinek’s scenario...”When you got up and left, I felt humiliated, and it’s important to me that I believe you...[respect my opinions]...[resolve conflict before leaving]...[whatever it is...].

This will make the technique even MORE effective, and provide the context for discussing ways to honor each other’s unique motivations, resolve interpersonal conflict, and improve the quality of relationship.

This methods works equally well in professional AND personal relationships.
