A single photograph can feel like a doorway to lives I never had the chance to know.
This restored image of my grandma and great-grandma carries a softness that time almost stole, and seeing it come back to life feels like watching memory bloom in reverse—petal by petal.
Grateful for the technology that allowed this small piece of my family’s history to shine again, and grateful for the women whose strength echoes forward in ways I’m still discovering.

Created in 2012–2013 while I was studying at AIC, long before AI tools, this piece was entirely hands-on. Every wire, every edit, every detail was carefully placed to tell a story.
Title: “Captured Cravings.”

In this imagined world, marshmallows once lived simple, carefree lives. But because of their irresistible sweetness, they became targets — desired, hunted, and taken.

What began as a playful experiment in storytelling has become, over time, a reflection of the world we live in: where innocence and beauty are often consumed by want, power, and control.
