The new School of Aviation building at Elizabeth City State University is beginning to take shape, and we're proud to support the project alongside Baker Mechanical.

This 57,000-square-foot facility will provide future aviation professionals with advanced classrooms, flight simulators, drone labs, collaborative learning spaces, and other specialized training environments designed to support the next generation of pilots, engineers, and aerospace leaders.

For this project, MKT supplied oval, spiral, and rectangular ductwork. After three deliveries to date, the Baker Mechanical team reported that materials arrived clean, properly wrapped, and ready for installation with no logistics issues.

When schedules are tight and labor is at a premium, details matter. Accurate fabrication, dependable deliveries, and install-ready ductwork help crews stay productive and keep projects moving forward.

Across the shop, multiple projects are moving through production at the same time, from large spiral sections and rectangular duct to specialty fabricated components and fittings. Every piece has to be built accurately, coordinated correctly, and ready to keep projects moving in the field.

The Millennium Science Complex at Penn State University was designed to support some of the school’s most advanced research and engineering programs — including materials research, life sciences, nano-clean rooms, and specialized laboratory spaces.

For a project of this scale and complexity, coordination and field efficiency mattered.

The Farfield Company partnered with MKT to provide pre-assembled ductwork solutions that helped support installation efficiency and jobsite productivity throughout the project.
