Work continues at the ECSU Flight Training Center, where MKT is supporting Baker Mechanical through the second phase of the project with spiral and oval ductwork.

During a recent site visit, both Baker Mechanical and Muter Construction shared positive feedback on MKT’s quality and how easy our teams have been to work with. The success of the partnership is also opening the door to future opportunities.

Once complete, the facility will help prepare ECSU students for careers in professional aviation and strengthen aviation training in North Carolina.

Strong fabrication starts with the right expertise in-house.

MKT has certified welders on staff for both MIG and TIG welding at our York, PA and Wilson, NC locations. Keeping this work in-house gives customers greater flexibility for custom fabrication, better quality control, and faster response when project requirements change.

Strong teams start with consistent communication.

Every morning, MKT’s Operations team comes together for a Production Planning Meeting to align on priorities, schedules, and the day ahead. At 10:00, the conversation expands to include our Wilson, NC team, helping keep both locations connected and coordinated.

That behind-the-scenes communication helps us respond faster, stay ahead of potential issues, and create a more reliable experience for our customers by keeping orders moving as smoothly as possible.

Our Q3 All Hands Meeting brought the MKT team together to share company updates, strengthen communication, and recognize the people behind the work.

We celebrated team members reaching 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of service, along with nearly 100 employees who completed our We Are Gritty Attendance Challenge and earned a special T-shirt.

Congratulations to everyone recognized, and a sincere thank you to the entire MKT team for the hard work, dedication, and effort you bring every day. We truly appreciate all that you do.

Lucy Beckham High School in Mt. Pleasant, SC, is a 240,000-square-foot campus serving students in grades 9–12.

MKT partnered with New England Tech Air of Scarborough, Maine, to provide galvanized rectangular duct for the project. Our logistics team also helped keep deliveries organized on site, assisting with unloading and material coordination throughout the job.

From fabrication through delivery, MKT helped support the scale and coordination this job required.
