This past Tuesday, we had the honor of celebrating 60 graduates from our 2026 BLOOM Small Business Education Programs at the York County History Center! 🎉

This year, BLOOM offered four class cohorts in both English and Spanish, giving small business owners the opportunity to dive deeper into financial management and marketing while gaining valuable tools to support and grow their businesses.

Congratulations to all our graduates! We’re proud to celebrate your hard work, growth and continued commitment to building and strengthening your businesses right here in York County. 💚

Thank you to everyone who joined us for September's Economic Insights breakfast this morning as the York County Commissioners covered the State of York County.

A few highlights from the presentation included:

🏥A Behavioral Health Walk-in Crisis Clinic, staffed and operated by opened this year, offering 24/7 mental health support with no appointment needed, with a goal to open more across our county in future years.
🔌York County continues to invest and expand countywide connectivity, including rural broadband buildout projects and a new urban Wi-Fi networking designed to support nearly 27,000 underserved residents.
🚜The county preserved almost 2,500 acres of open space and farmland and earned a Governor’s environmental award for the Oil Creek floodplain restoration project.
🚲From improvements at Rocky Ridge County Park to continued expansion of the Hanover Trolley Trail, parks and recreation remain a priority for enhancing quality of life across York County.
👩‍⚕️More than 70 volunteers have been trained through the county's CERT program, helping build a stronger network of community partners prepared to respond in emergencies.
