❄️Fresh Snow Alert❄️
We received 8-10” of new snow in the last 24 hours, bringing our current storm total to 11-14” and counting. We are starting to see heavy snowfall this morning along with very strong winds and frigid temperatures that will stay in the single digits and below zero throughout the day. Wear appropriate layers for the conditions and cover up any exposed skin when outdoors. Take frequent breaks to head inside and warm up throughout the day.
All upper mountain chairlifts and most mid-mountain chairlifts are currently on wind or visibility hold that will most likely stay this way throughout the day. The Village Gondola is also on a wind hold.
Exercise caution when traveling to the mountain today as there are very dangerous whiteout conditions on the roads. Use public transportation whenever possible.
