Smith's Marine Railway Inc Historic Boat Building and Repair Yard. In the early1840's Peter B. The Boatyard has been in continuous operation by the same family since 1842.

Smith moved his family from Mathews County Virginia, to York County Virginia and opened Smith's Marine Railway on Chisman's Creek.
