Many people fall into the trap of not having a photo of themselves on LinkedIn. Please understand that Recruiters will overlook profiles without photos and move along to the next one that does. Keep in mind also that the profile picture should:
1. Headshot and not a selfie (you don't have to hire a professional photographer; just get someone to take a picture of you with a clean background)
2. The photo should be just you (not with other people or pets)
3. This photo is your professional photo, not a social one. Save your beach photos or vacation photos for your personal social media pages.

So I joined in the fun as well, lol 🤦🏿‍♀️ and noticed something right away. A misspelled word! Ugh! I don't know if it was the teacher in me (long time ago) or resume writer caught it, but I noticed it, which led to this post.

A.I. is great, but you still must do the work. You still need to check and double check.

The HR team, hiring managers and I laugh at work because we really can tell when someone has used Chat GPT to write their resumes. (Most of those people don't get selected by the way, because they are too lazy to fill in the blanks that Chat GPT left out or just things that don't make sense)

A lot of people ask if Chat GPT is going to put me out of business because it can write resumes and I still say no, because I write them better 😉 But this was cute and fun though...
