Wiggins is the founder and owner of Uniquely Organized & Utilized. She teams up with her clients to organize their homes and lives by putting the FUN in FUNCTIONALITY. For over a decade, she has helped hundreds of clients to overcome the chaos of procrastination and clutter so they can have more time in their day to live with ease and purpose. For her whole life, Dot has always had a knack for max
imizing spaces and getting all her ducks in a row. As the oldest of four children, she learned at an early age that keeping a neat and tidy home is key, especially when it came to the special needs of her family members. Some of these special needs included hearing issues, anxiety, dyslexia and obsessive-compulsive disorder. By helping her family on this front, Dot was able to be her mom’s right hand to take care of everyone. From then on, Dot has applied her organization skills to every phase of her life, whether she was homeschooling her children or working as an office medical assistant. As a highly-sensitive person and empath who deals with dyslexic and anxiety issues, Dot is able to use her systems and tools to work fast under pressure while maintaining balance and calm. By living her life this way, Dot is able to honor her uniqueness. When Dot’s husband lost his job in 2011, she finally decided to take a chance on herself and officially launched Uniquely Organized & Utilized. Since then, she has never looked back. Dot’s approach is faith-based, mixed with psychology, biology, emotional intelligence and practical tools. Her personal organization philosophy allows her to find customized solutions that make it easy for her clients’ to adopt into their lifestyle. Efficiency, effectiveness, creativity, and simple solutions are the key pillars of her company. After all, a little creativity can get everything done. For her clients who have special needs, Dot is often reminding them, “You’re not disabled. You are ‘differently abled.’”
Her mission in life is to love because it is at the core of everything. Everyone is valuable and they deserve to be loved. No one should ever feel alone. This is why she loves helping people. Dot also holds an Associates Degree in Medical Assisting from Vance-Granville Community College.
