My husband, Brian Endicott is in the hospital, he has just been diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bladder and bones. Our business, Endicott's Repair, is permanently closed. I'm in the hospital with him, I'm not leaving his side. The oncologist said it is a very aggressive cancer that developed around June and metastasized to his bones by July. He might be able to come home with cancer meds & nursing in the next week. I don't know what to do. Our small business is gone, our daughter Caytlin Endicott is putting out a gofundme to pay expenses and help us survive until she can get a job and I can find a job that I can do remotely so I can also be home to take care of my husband. If anyone know any breakthroughs in killing stage 4 prostate and bone and bladder cancer then please let me know. If you can help with fundraising or any other way, we desperately need it. This is a journey we didn't want or deserve and have no idea what to do. Personally, I'm falling apart inside, screaming, heart shattered, terrified, the love of my life and my soul mate and my everything has stage 4 cancer.

Let's talk about range installation. Specifically installing the cord. Loose range cords get extremely hot. This will cause costly damage to the cord and the terminal block.

Early signs you have a loose range cord:
1-surface elements not getting as hot as expected.
2-oven taking longer to bake than normal.
3-burning odor during operation.

Eventually the range will stop working altogether or reset the house breaker. This can cause severe damage to the electronic control.

Be mindful of using painted bottom pans on your glass cooktop. These pans are great to keep your glass surface from scratching. The paint, however, can stick to the glass and damage the glass if the glass cooktop surface is dirty, if the bottom of the pan is dirty, or if the pan overheats. Painted bottom pans should never be allowed to run dry when using. Also, you should never use a painted bottom pan on the high heat setting. If you use them on low to medium heat and keep your cooktop regularly polished they can work fine. Just be aware of their limitations

Cracked glass cooktop. Avoid this happening to you. Don't keep heavy objects above the cooktop cabinets or on the back splash. Also, make sure to keep your glass cooktop clean and polished. A dirty cooktop can hinder the natural expansion of the glass while heating and cause thermal breakage. A polished cooktop cleans up easier after a spill.

Does your water dispenser drip or spray off to one side? You may have mildew built up inside the end of the water dispenser tube. Use a pipe cleaner to clear out the dispenser tube and then flush a couple of cups of water through the dispenser. A regular cleaning schedule will keep the water flowing correctly and tasting a lot better. It will also save you a costly service call.

If your dishwasher isn't cleaning as well as it used to, be sure to check the filter before you call for service. Also, check the spray arms for debris in the holes. Most issues with poor functioning dishwashers can be solved by doing a little annual cleaning inside the machine.

Never use foil on the bottom of the newer ranges. The foil can melt and cause costly and ugly damage.
Instead use an oven liner. They can be placed on the lower rack at the bottom position. They are cheap, easy to use and easy to clean.

Found this on a dishwasher call a while back.
Complaint was no water.
Always good to go with the flow.
