Below is the one magazine cover that impacts me more than any I have saved. Let’s talk about it. I’m a packrat who hardly ever disposes of anything! Magazines and newspaper headlines have always interested me because their headlines are published to quickly grab attention. Tomorrow (Friday) at 9:30AM CT, I want to display some of these vintage magazine covers that have really spoken to me through the years. One cover from 1999, says, Human Breast Milk Kills Cancer Cells. My take? Of course it does, because it has antifungal components! Another from 1994 says, The War on Cancer: It’s being Lost. Honesty is always the best policy. Can you remember a medical headline that impacted you? If so, share the words of it with us in the comments. I’ve got some great ones for you tomorrow at 9:30AM CT! It’s time to reminisce and base today’s realities on what science told us years ago.

Mold is not a new issue.

Scent is Marketing. An Ingredient List Is Chemistry.

Maybe fragrance doesn’t bother you. Maybe you wear it, wash your clothes in it, and clean your home with it without ever noticing a problem. But an invisible exposure isn't a harmless exposure.

We have been carefully trained to equate a pleasant smell with clean, fresh, and luxury. But think about how absurd that standard is anywhere else. Research tracking residential dryer emissions shows that fragranced laundry products release volatile organic compounds directly into outdoor air, disappearing entirely when switching to fragrance-free alternatives.

For some people, those chemical trails trigger headaches, asthma attacks, and skin reactions. But you don’t have to experience those effects yourself to question what you're using.

This isn't about fear; it's about recognizing that marketing taught you to associate an added scent with hygiene. A pleasant smell is not evidence of clean air, a safer product, or an exposure without consequence.

You deserve to know what you are breathing.
