This last weekend, I made my way to the Jackson Southside Summer Fest and had the opportunity to speak with Hakim Crampton about the festival and what it means to the community.

This festival is about more than food, music, vendors, and entertainment. It is about bringing people back together, supporting the Southside, and giving the community something that belongs to them.

Hakim gave us a little history behind the festival and spoke about why continuing to build within the community matters.

Wednesday Night, The Hidden Nation went to the Woman's Huron Valley Correctional Facility for an outside vigil for each of the women who have passed away within the confines of the walls. Organizations, family amd friends showed up to show support and to speak to the people of the losses that have impacted these women for so many years. Our Prayers and thoughts go to all those who have been impacted by these deaths.
In Honor of:.
*Dalephenia Jones (Age 62): Died on July 2, 2026, at Trinity Health Hospital. She passed away 14 days after being admitted following a severe cardiac event. The MDOC noted she had chronic pre-existing medical conditions, but they are still investigating the specific events leading to her sudden hospitalization.
*Rebecca Fackler (Age 57): Died on May 17, 2026. Her exact cause of death remains under internal investigation, and her autopsy report has not yet been publicly released.
* Khaira Howard (Age 28): Died on May 13, 2026. An official autopsy report released by the Washtenaw County Medical Examiner concluded that she died from a pulmonary thromboembolism caused by deep vein thrombosis (a blood clot in her lung).
*Ashley Hoath (Age 36): Died on June 6, 2026, after being transferred from the prison's medical unit to Trinity Health Hospital. Her released autopsy report officially ruled her cause of death as a su***de.

🎥 Krymson Media at the Worldwide Fatherhood Summit — Battle Creek, Michigan,
Part Two

The second half of the Worldwide Fatherhood Summit continued with lunch, deeper conversation, and a three-speaker panel centered on fatherhood, community, responsibility, and support.

This part of the event featured a panel discussion moderated by Bomani Gray, organizer of the Worldwide Fatherhood Summit, with speakers including:

• Dr. Tamarie Willis, PhD in Social Work from the University of Washington
• Tim Click
• Douglass Williams

The event was emceed by Terrance Grantham, who helped guide the day and keep the energy moving from start to finish.

This video captures the community meal, the panel conversation, and the closing group photo — showing the people, relationships, and shared purpose behind the summit.

Krymson Media documented this event because these conversations matter. Fatherhood, healing, accountability, and community support deserve to be seen and preserved.
