This week, like many parents we dropped off our oldest at college for the first time, and I'm still processing my emotions. It was a completely surreal, overwhelming day leaving my baby girl.

There's a lot I'm not saying here, not ready to say. I've always had different challenges supporting those I love than my peers and this one brought me right back to an OMG moment. By that, I mean crying out to my God for his protection and faithfulness.

I took some quiet time this afternoon to reflect on the what and why of it all, knowing that this is still the beginning of a much longer journey. The Lord reminded me of these things, and maybe someone else out there needs to be reminded too.

My God is in heaven and He is sovereign. Gen. 18:25
That this is not my story, or hers, it is His story for His glory

Can you tell that cranberries don't know anything about social distancing? I'm a little jealous!

It's the last before 2020's holiday season begins. I'm hustling and excited, but also a little nervous about what it will bring. Anybody else feeling that? Can we, should we gather with our families? Can our economy afford a slow retail season? 4th quarter results drive many businesses year round success.

Let's focus on what we CAN do today! What project can you move forward with right now? What help do you need to do that? Who else can you support in their efforts? We are STILL all in this together. I'd love to know what your thoughts or feelings are, even if it's just about cranberries - I'm a fan :)
