For so many years, my career was a huge part of my life and, if I’m being truthful, a huge part of my identity. I loved what I did. I loved the people, the relationships, the responsibility, and knowing that the work we were doing mattered.

What followed was a season I never anticipated and certainly wouldn’t have chosen. It challenged me personally and professionally. It changed relationships. It made me question who I was without the title and the role that had been such a significant part of my life for so long.
There was grief. There was uncertainty. There was a lot of prayer. And somewhere along the way, there was growth.
I began to understand that maybe God wasn’t taking my purpose away at all. Maybe He was redirecting it.
That journey is a big part of what eventually led me to life coaching. Not because I have life completely figured out, but because I know what it feels like when life changes unexpectedly, and you are left trying to figure out who you are, what comes next, and how to move forward.
Over the next several weeks, I am going to share a little more of that story. The career. The changes. The relationships. The lessons. The difficult parts and the unexpected blessings that came from them.

And if you happen to be walking through a season you never planned for either, I hope something in my story reminds you that a chapter ending does not mean your purpose ended with it.
Sometimes it’s exactly where the next part of your story begins. ❤️
