Another busy day in the books for Ae**us Services LLC! 🔧

Today was a little bit of everything and a good example of the variety of equipment we get called out to work on.

❄️ Started the day with an Argus commercial freezer — made some necessary adjustments, cleaned the coils, and checked operation to help keep it running properly.

🔥 Next up was a commercial gas oven with burner issues. Tracked the problem down to the flame-safety/thermocouple system, made necessary gas pressure adjustments, and got things moving in the right direction.

🧊 From there, onto an upright freezer with a defrost problem. Diagnosed a faulty defrost termination thermostat and got the repair process underway.

⚙️ Next was a Thunderbird commercial mixer with an electrical control issue. Spent some time tracing the control circuit and diagnosing the contactor/power problem.

💧 Finished out the day evaluating a water heater affected by recent flooding, checking the electrical components and determining what will be needed to safely get things back in service.

Five calls. Five completely different pieces of equipment. One long day. 😂

That's one of the things I enjoy most about this business — you never quite know what the next call is going to bring.

Pretty cool job today! 🔧⚡

Got the opportunity to work on this Chinese-built commercial electric machine at a customer’s location. It was originally configured for three-phase power, which wasn’t compatible with the electrical service available at the property.

We converted and rewired the unit from its original three-phase configuration to 220/240V single-phase power, allowing it to operate properly on the customer’s available electrical service.

Once the conversion was completed, we powered everything up, tested the controls, heating system, and motor operation, and verified proper operation before leaving the job.

Definitely one of the more unique service calls lately. Jobs like this are a good reminder that sometimes there isn’t a simple part to replace — you have to understand how the equipment was designed and figure out how to safely adapt it to the application.
