When a historic building has a plumbing problem, excavation isn't an option.

The Cannon House Office Building in Washington, D.C.—the oldest congressional office building in the United States—developed leaks in two roof drain lines, allowing water to infiltrate the walls of this iconic structure.

The challenge? Each 5" roof drain ran approximately 90 feet with multiple bends, including a sweeping 90°, a 45°, and a connection into a wye before dropping five stories to the basement. Restoring the system required a solution that could navigate complex pipe geometry while preserving the building's historic integrity.
