We are watching Dateline, Secrets Uncovered" tonight. It was a sad time here in Zanesville. The episode is called "Out There in the Dark". Sadly about the Brandy Daniels murder. They filmed 2 days worth of interviews right here in the main room of the Headley Inn. We sat on the stairwell just out side of the room and listened to Dennis Murphy conduct his interviews, and we were just in awe. The Dateline crew came in each morning and transformed our great room into a studio in about 20 minutes. Carrie and I had the opportunity to sit down and have coffee and chat with Dennis. He was the best guy ever. He had lots of questions about the National Road and of course we had lots of questions about how he copes with hearing about all of the tragedies that are part of the Dateline episodes. Anyway, take a watch and pay attention to the background in the interviews and you will see key features of the Headley Inn. Oh, it is on Oxygen channel.
