Attn: AirFi customers,

First let me say I hope everyone is safe from the storm that came through last night. Very scary from the damage that I've seen done to our area.

It looks like the only area that has been affected by an outage as far as internet from AirFi is concerned is anyone off Mt. Carmel Tower.

I spoke to the Tower Owners which is the Bear Radio Station and they said they went there around 11:00PM last night and the tower is still standing, but it has no power.

They spoke to the power company, and they said:
There are at least 7 broken power poles, 30 broken cross-arms, tons of trees on lines and wires on the ground everywhere. They have brought in additional crews and have our tree-trimming contractors clearing paths for the crews, but it will be a slow process. The Tornado did significant damage to the power system.

Once power has been restored, we will evaluate the tower site more thoroughly to make sure everything is working properly and send an update.
