This is exactly why I love the decluttering and reset side of Just a Mom Helping Moms. It’s not about coming into someone’s home and judging how it got there. It’s about rolling up our sleeves, sorting through the overwhelm, finding a place for what stays, clearing out what doesn’t, and giving you a space you can actually enjoy again.

These pictures are the same room. Same furniture. Same home. Just a whole lot less weight sitting in it. 🥹

If you have a bedroom, playroom, closet, garage - or even an entire house - that has gotten away from you, please don’t be embarrassed to ask for help.

Glass showers 🤝 testing my patience.

The hard water. The soap scum. The buildup hiding in every track and corner. And somehow, they always look at me like, “Go ahead… try me.” This one definitely made me work for it, but THAT AFTER?! 😮‍💨✨ Worth every bit of elbow grease.

Glass showers may never be my favorite… but I refuse to let them win. 😂

Now for a little behind-the-scenes info because I think this transformation is also a great example of what cleaning can - and sometimes can’t - do.

This bathroom was not booked as a deep clean. We tackled as much as we safely could within the service provided, and while the difference is pretty incredible, you may still notice some discoloration/rust staining in the after photo.

One thing I will never do for the sake of a prettier “after” picture is risk damaging a client’s home.

Some staining can become permanent over time, and some surfaces/materials have limitations on what products and methods can safely be used. The caulking/sealant along the shower wall was already lifting and deteriorating. While removing it would have removed some of the visible discoloration with it, removing and replacing caulk is a repair - not a cleaning service. So it stayed exactly where it belonged.

Our goal is always to get things as clean as safely possible without causing damage. 💕

Of course I love a good before and after - but the transformation you can see in these pictures isn’t my favorite part. It’s the relief you can’t.

When I received the message, “I could cry! I feel so relieved already!” - THAT is what fills my cup.

That’s why I love what I do. I’m not just cleaning houses or organizing rooms - I get to help people breathe a little easier in their own homes. And I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of receiving messages like this. 🥹❤️

Life has a funny way of turning one pile of laundry into ten. Before you know it, your bedroom becomes the place where everything lands instead of the place where you can actually rest.

A few hours, a plan, and a little teamwork later… the room can breathe again.
