Happy 5th work anniversary to Randi Roehling! 🎉

Five years ago Randi joined the DISHER team, and she's spent them supporting the people around her and helping good ideas turn into real results. We've also loved cheering her on as she gives back through her board service with Community Action House and the Lakeshore Human Resource Management Association.

Outside of work, Randi is usually at her kids' sporting events, out hiking, traveling somewhere new, or trying a new recipe at home.

Lisa Russell is celebrating her fifth work anniversary at DISHER!

Since joining, Lisa has moved across several parts of the business, including Talent Solutions, Sales, and Leading by Design, always bringing fresh curiosity to how we serve clients.

Grant was drawn to DISHER by the range of roles and industries our engineers work across, and by the chance to grow while making a positive difference. He sees every new customer as an opportunity to broaden his skills and find the sweet spot where he enjoys the work and can excel at it.

Stewardship is the DISHER value that resonates most with Grant. Our culture of caring well for both people and resources motivates him to put his best foot forward, in his engineering work and in the service opportunities DISHER provides.

Away from the office, Grant can usually be found out fishing or behind a drum kit, a hobby he picked up a couple of years ago.

Meet Jared Schaffer, the newest Design Engineer at DISHER!

The DISHER value Jared connects with most is Trusting Relationships. As he puts it, successful projects and healthy working relationships are built on trust, and he's looking forward to building that trust with our team and our customers.

When he's not at work, you'll find Jared outdoors or building something with his hands. He loves going for a run, woodworking, and tackling projects around the house. Next up, he's hoping to try mountain biking and kiteboarding as he discovers more of what West Michigan has to offer.

Eric VandenBrink is celebrating his fifth work anniversary at DISHER!

Since joining, Eric has brought his automotive engineering background into new industries, helping bring that expertise to clients in medical, furniture, and defense.

When he's not at work, Eric loves being out on the boat, riding motorcycles, hitting the golf course, or snowboarding.

Congratulations to Phil Dirkse, PMP, VP of Innovation at DISHER, on being named to Crain's Grand Rapids Business 40 Under 40.

Over the past five years, he's coached emerging leaders and helped shape a more people-focused organization, a shift he says began with project management, which became his bridge from engineering into leadership.

His focus on developing people extends past DISHER's walls. A decade ago, he launched Zipper Labs, bringing hands-on STEM curriculum into Kent and Ottawa County classrooms, and through One17 International, he's worked alongside educators in Haiti and Cambodia.

"I want to be someone who brings people together," Phil said. Today, Phil leads a 60-person team spanning engineering, design, and project management at DISHER.

Emily is joining DISHER as a Talent Consultant. She was drawn to the team's intentionality and DISHER's mission of making a positive difference, and she's bringing an engineering background to connecting great people with the right opportunities.

The value she holds closest is Stewardship, using her time and talents well and giving back to the community.

Off the clock, you'll catch her swimming at the pool or on the lake, playing violin, camping with her husband, and never passing up a board game.
