So, after doing a bit of research I found a website that lets you check the websites that you might entrust with your personal and credit card info. In my opinion the smart thing to do is to check all sites where you might create a "virtual" shopping cart. Here's the link: https://lastpass.com/heartbleed/ As I said in a previous post, I was flagged by Pinterest to modify my password for that site.

LastPass is an online password manager and form filler that makes web browsing easier and more secure.

I was flagged, like everyone else most likely, by FB and Pinterest that the Heartbleed virus, by virtue of the nature of the program, that it procures and copies ID information, and that 100,000+ would be affected. I did some research and many experts agree that the best defense is password modification. Just saying' . . .

I've been working with the RapidWeaver development platform over the last four months or so, while I've been working with the Wordpress platform at the same time. I've found that, while the RW platform is very easy to use, it is not as flexible as the Wordpress platform. And while Wordpress is a little more difficult to learn, it is much more flexible and comes with so many more add-ons and plugins, I guess that's because it's an open-source product. Wordpress Rocks!

Hey everyone. Just wanted to engage the community to try to get a sense of the need, or the lack of, for business and information technology here in the South Shore area. I've been told that I'm in the wrong part of the world if I aspire to encourage the use/proliferation of IT technology to promote business, non-profits, education, whatever the need. I e-mailed my older bother a few weeks ago re: my aspiration, and he laughed at me. Please help me out and share this. Let me know what you guys think.
