🌶️🏆 SOUTH SHORE'S BEST CHILI HAS BEEN CROWNED! 🏆🌶️

What an incredible day for our inaugural South Shore Chili Cook Off! Nearly 400 attendees joined us at Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe on Saturday, October 17, for a beautiful fall afternoon filled with delicious chili, friendly competition, live music, and community spirit!

Together, we raised approximately $10,000 in fundraising revenue to support 11 charitable causes selected by our participating first responder and community teams! ❤️

🏆 Congratulations to our People's Choice winners!

🥇 1st Place: Lake Valley Fire Protection District (official) + Lake Tahoe AleWorX

🥈 2nd Place: Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District + Fox and Hound Tahoe

🥉 3rd Place: Care Flight + Tahoe Bagel Company

A huge congratulations to all our competing teams! Every restaurant and first responder partnership helped make this event a success, and every charitable cause benefits from your participation.

🚒 The afternoon was about so much more than chili! Guests had the opportunity to connect with local first responders, explore fire engines and emergency vehicles, enjoy a K-9 demonstration with Douglas County Sheriff's Deputy DeRosa and K-9 Chase, tour the Reach Air Medical Services helicopter, and listen to live music from The Bread and Butter band!

🎁 Our community also showed incredible generosity through the Toys for Tots Holiday Toy Drive, contributing a wonderful collection of new toys to help brighten the holidays for children in need!
