Florida does allow Black Bear Hunting in certain regions around the state. Most areas begin end of October it's a short window so check this site out to get the details in your area!

Hey there hunters, I want to warn you someone is posting false information about Florida Deer Hunting being cancelled.

Check with your hunting clubs to verify. But from what I have seen from other states these are false.

Big game hunters, start gathering your ammo. Just two years after taking bears off the state's list of imperiled species, Florida wildlife commissioners agreed Wednesday they want to bring back a bear hunting season, perhaps as early as this fall.
