🚨 PUBLIC NOTICE 🚨

The Government of the Virgin Islands, through the Ministry of Health and Social Development, wishes to inform the public of the Re-Implementation of the Derelict Vehicle Disposal Fee.

📅 Effective Date: 1st September, 2025

This fee will assist with the cost of removing and disposing of derelict vehicles across the Territory.

💰 Fee Categories:

Category A – Vehicles weighing 1,500lbs to 3,000lbs → $60.00

Category B – Vehicles weighing 3,001lbs to 6,000lbs → $85.00

Category C – Vehicles weighing over 6,000lbs → $125.00

ℹ️ What to Expect:

The fee will be collected at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) at the time of licensing your vehicle.

This is a one-time payment for the life of the vehicle.
