NEW 🔥Phoenix🔥 PAPER ART

There are many ways for you to 'read' or perceive this artwork and its message; it is going to be very individual for each of you - just pay attention to what emotion/thought or feeling comes up for you in the first moments you see it (until the mind begins to dissect all the details and offer loud opinions and reasons why you like or dislike it). That initial quiet voice is the whisper of intuition, that's the place I create my best work from.

There is no specific message or idea that I had in my mind while creating this artwork, it came about as a visual representation of a feeling rising from the deep rather than an illustration of some mental concept around 'empowerment'.

If I really have to attach any words to this artwork, I would phrase it this way: this portrait is about coming into your personal power and burning down your egoic mask, old patterns and beliefs in order to give rise to your Higher Self - the part of you that is pure light.

Historically the main reason why we couldn't be ourselves (= our true selves) is because we had to conform to cultural, societal and family norms, patterns and belief systems - tribal values. Not conforming could be (and still is in some parts of the world) life threatening. So we learned to become energy chameleons adapting ourselves to our environment; but once we started wearing masks in order to fit in to what the outside world expected of us, we immediately started to lose power. Any time you say what others expect of you (instead of saying your truth), you are losing power to that outside circumstance.

Yet every time you take the courage to follow your heart and your true self, the fire of the Phoenix gets stronger... until it is no longer possible to suppress it... Phoenix comes out in its full glory to purify and burn down everything that no longer serves the real you. I don't know if any of the above resonates with you, dear friends; in truth, I address all of this to myself.
