[English caption below]

What Is “Crafted by Vietnamese Soul” Really Made Of?
A product can be grown and produced in Vietnam. But for it to carry a truly Vietnamese spirit, it takes more than a place of origin.
For Soul, “Vietnamese” begins with the raw material itself: coffee grown across the Central Highlands, basalt-rich red soil, varieties that have adapted over many seasons, and the knowledge farmers have developed through years of reading the land, water, sunlight, and rain.
But that Vietnamese character does not end where the coffee grows. It also shapes the way Soul explores processing methods connected to the local environment and culture. Alongside Natural and Honey processes, we experiment with anaerobic fermentation, proprietary yeast cultures, yeasts derived from local fruits, and cultures inspired by rượu Cần, Vietnam’s traditional fermented rice w**e. The aim is not simply to create unusual aromas, but to understand how technique can reveal more of the place where the coffee comes from.
“Vietnamese” is also present in the way coffee is enjoyed. The phin remains an important brewing method, one that brings out Robusta’s body, intensity, and lingering finish. At the same time, espresso, cold brew, and filter brewing offer different perspectives on the same coffee, highlighting clarity, sweetness, and aromatic structure in new ways.
And “Soul” is not simply about emotion. It is reflected in the choices we make repeatedly, every day: not cutting a process short for the sake of convenience, not using technique to mask the quality of the raw material, and not treating farmers as separate from the story behind the brand.
That is why “Crafted by Vietnamese Soul” is not a phrase added to a product once the work is done. It is a question we have to answer again with every crop, in the coffees we choose, the methods we develop, and the way we bring Vietnamese Robusta closer to people around the world.
Because identity is not built by repeating where something comes from. It becomes visible when every decision behind the product is moving in the same direction.
