When Timi first came to me in April, she felt lost in a labyrinth, trying to figure out how to get her Vietnamese driving licence, especially with the language barrier and all the paperwork involved. We started by converting her car driving licence to a Vietnamese one, then moved on to the next step: pursuing a VNese motorbike licence, something she had always wanted but wasn't sure how to approach (A or A1 class). But just as we were preparing for the next step, Timi's journey took ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐
๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ป. She was involved in a ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ when another driver carelessly cut in front of her. After the collision, he left her in the middle of the road. Timi had to undergo surgery, and what followed was a long and challenging recovery, along with further difficulties involving legal action and insurance costs.
๐๐๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ป'๐ ๐ด๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฝ ๐ผ๐ป ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ด๐ผ๐ฎ๐น. While she was still recovering, Timi became even more determined to get her motorbike licence. Getting back on a bike wasn't easy. Sometimes, fear took over, and she would freeze at certain obstacles, unable to ride through them. The bumpy section near the end of the practical test, in particular, felt almost impossible at the beginning. It wasn't just about learning how to ride; it was also about rebuilding her confidence and overcoming the fear after everything she'd been through. Yet, she kept showing up for practice, putting in the effort and working through those challenges step by step.

It's a reminder of her determination, courage and persistence, even when the road ahead felt overwhelming.

If you're riding a manual bike for the first time and don't feel confident yet, that's completely okay. You don't have to be perfect from day one. Even Timi struggled with some obstacles at the beginning, but with consistent practice, patience, and determination, she eventually achieved a perfect score in her practical test.
