ROWE RACING will be fully focused on endurance racing again in the 2022 season with the new BMW M4 GT3. The team from St. Ingbert will compete in the 24-hour classics at the Nürburgring and Spa.
The new BMW M4 GT3 entry car is based on the current BMW M4 Competition production model. Instead of the V8 engine which was used in its predecessor, this one is powered by an in-line six-cylinder engine with three litres of displacement and double turbocharging. This block delivers up to 590 hp and is 40 kg lighter than the eight-cylinder version. The BMW M4 GT3 will make its racing debut in the ROWE RACING colours on 3 April as part of the GT World Challenge Europe season opener in Imola, Italy.
Both experienced racers and young talents will be behind the wheel for ROWE RACING in the 2022 season: Former DTM driver Augusto Farfus from Brazil and the experienced drivers Nick Catsburg and Nick Yelloly will drive in the GT World Challenge Europe for the first time. The team of drivers in the GT World Challenge will be completed by the BMW Junior Team, consisting of Briton Dan Harper, German Max Hesse and Neil Verhagen from the USA. The drivers for the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring and the Nürburgring Endurance Series rounds will be announced at a later date.
