When I was 15 years old, I remembered my mentor gave me a book. "Develop the leader within you" authored by John C Maxwell. Of the many quotes written, one resonates in me till today is "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." The interesting point is that the more we take care for our people, the more our engaged people will take care of our business.

Whatever your business is, let's make taking care of people one of your business.

Fail to plan and plan to fail. Tongue in cheek. Yesterday, I met a F&B business owner for runs her brand in Singapore for 31 years. She saw how working more tirelessly in the business will not help her to add more value to customers and employees. Instead, she devised a plan to work "on" and not "in" and will go regional very soon. Not only was I impressed but inspired with her dreams and how she was determined to act on her dreams. Many dreamt, few acted. What about you?
